Laissez les bons temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!) Tuesday, Feb. 13th was Mardi Gras and this year’s French Club members celebrated in style! Things got loud as members participated in activities and the tradition of catching trinkets. Students showed their crazy side by dressing in Mardi Gras fashion for a picture taken at our photo booth. To top off the event, French Club member Zander Wood shared an authentic New Orleans style king’s cake that he had prepared. The cake had a plastic baby hidden inside and Dakota Wisecarver became king for the day by finding the special prize. Vive le roi et vive Mardi Gras! Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride

The panthers were led by Senior Wesley Armstead with a career high of 24 points, Senior Alex Bobb with 22 points, and Gator Nichols with 12 points. The panthers are back in action on Friday at John Glenn for their last regular season game. Congratulations to the Maysville Boys Basketball Team🏀 for defeating Fairfield Union with a score of 65-51. The panthers were led by Alex Bobb with 33 points , Gator Nichols with 16 points, and Wesley Armstead with 8 points and 2 steals. 🐾🤼‍♀️Maysville High School Girls Wrestling🤼‍♀️🐾 The first ever Maysville High School Girls Tournament took place on Sunday. The Maysville Lady Panthers wrestling team took to the mats in front of a home crowd. The girls finished 7th as a team out of 26 teams. They were lead by Kelsie Bryan, the 145 pound Tournament Champion and MVL Champion. Bryan pinned her way through her bracket with 5 first period pins improving her record to 23-1 with 22 pins. Other awards include: 🐾Kyrie Valentine 3rd Place and 105 pound girls MVL Champion 🤼‍♀️Josalynn Milatovich 4th place and 130 Pound MVL girls runner-up/2nd place 🐾Chloe Pierce 135 Pound MVL girls runner up/ 2nd place Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride
