Congratulations to the Maysville Boys Basketball team for defeating Carrollton in the Shot Clock Shootout with a score of 82-74. The panthers were led by Gavin Ferguson with 24 points, Gator Nichols with 18 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds, Kane Roehrig with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jordyn Watson with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Gavin Ferguson was named player of the game.

Congratulations to the Maysville Girls Basketball team for defeating Claymont with a score of 54-42. The panthers were led by Bella VanWey with 15 points, Avery Daniels with 14 points, and Miley Fulkerson with 11 points. Bella VanWey was also named player of the game. With this win the panthers have a record of 6-2.

Kade Renner was voted Athlete of the week by the Times Recorder poll. Renner is honored for his 215 pound Championship Saturday at the Larry Remmert Memorial Tournament at Sheridan High School.

Kyrie Valentine captured the 105 Championship Sunday 12/21/24 at the Vinton County-Spring Street Sports Girls Invitational. Audrey Crooks was the 120 pound Runner-up and Jayla Carpenter placed 5th to put the Varsity Lady Panthers in 6th place out of 17 teams.
The Middle Schools Lady Panthers were lead by Annika Winland's runner-up placement at the 134 pound weight class. Bryliegh Cecil placed 3rd and Bella Blair placed 8th.
