🐾The Maysville High School Wrestling Program advanced 8 wrestlers to OHSAA Regional/ District tournaments this weekend. The program was lead by Senior Kelsie Bryan’s Pre-Regional Championship at Claymont High School pinning her way through the bracket and securing 24 pins on the season! Bryan avenged her only loss of the season to Warren’s Jade Fairbanks by pinning her in the first period.
🤼♂️The boys were lead by DJ Waite’s earlier season avenging win to #3 state ranked Levi Pidgeon a Senior from Carrollton High School, Waite defeated Pidgeon 6-4 in the championship match.
🐾The Panthers had 7 wrestlers in championship matches at Claymont. The following are district/ regional qualifiers and or district alternates.

🐾🏀MVL Back to Back Champs🏀🐾
Congratulations to the Maysville Boys Basketball Team for defeating John Glenn with a score of 64-39. With this win, the panthers secured back to back MVL Big School Titles. Congratulations panthers!🏀 The panthers will host the first game of the tournament on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the panther pound against Morgan.

On Thursday, the Maysville High School Choir attended a Pre-Contest Concert at Crooksville High School. The choir performed their three contest pieces for two adjudicators and attended a sight singing clinic where they also received feedback. The High School Choir will be competing in OMEA District IX Large Group Contest on March 16th at John Glenn High School. Congratulations to the Maysville High School Choir on an excellent performance last night! 🎶

⚙️🌤️🐾Renewable Resources🐾🌤️⚙️
Maysville 3rd graders visited the STEAM Lab to experiment with renewable resources. They constructed and tested water wheels, built balloon cars to test their wind power, and investigated the types of lighting that mimic the sun’s rays -in order to power a solar car. They successfully demonstrated an ability to collaborate, cooperate, problem solve, and persevere!
