🐾6-12 Food Drive🐾
The annual canned food drive is in full swing in the 6-12! Beginning on December 3rd when students return from break, the following items will receive bonus points when brought in on their assigned day! As always, any food items are accepted and appreciated, but this is just another chance to earn points towards prizes by earning double points for items that are still needed. The individual for each grade level who receives the most items/points will get a prize and the advisory who has the most items/points will get a prize as well.

The Maysville High School Business Pathway students recently put their entrepreneurial skills to the test! After learning about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship in class, they showcased their creativity and business savvy by designing and crafting unique Christmas ornaments as part of a hands-on project.
These ornaments were proudly displayed on a decorated tree entered into the Festival of Trees, a local community event. 🦃📚 Maysville second grade students had a special project for Thanksgiving this month. They researched the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, read the book "Balloons Over Broadway" by Melissa Sweet, and watched a video from the Macy's Studio where balloons are made. 🎈 After planning their own ideas, the students visited the Tinker Lab to shop for supplies using a design budget. 💡🛠️ Families were invited to join their students for a parent interaction day to construct our balloons. 🎨 Finally, second graders paraded through other second classrooms to admire the creativity of their peers.
