🐾Maysville High School Swim Team-Scottie Sprints Swim Meet 🐾
The Maysville Varsity Swim Team had their first meet on Wednesday, December 4th, at the Scottie Sprints. The Women’s team finished 3rd, and the Men’s team finished 4th.
The Women’s 200 Medley Relay Team of Madison Hirtle, Bailey Paskell, Grace Rush, and Leila Hawk finished 3rd, and the 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Paskell, Hawk, Claire Heiney, and Olivia Rusnak finished 7th. The Men’s Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Elijah Mayle, Owen Rusnak, and Landyn Kennedy finished 7th in the 200 Medley and 6th in the 200 Freestyle.
Top 10 individual finishes included:
🏊♂️Senior Elijah Mayle finished 6th in the 100-yard Freestyle and 7th in the 100-yard Individual Medley.
🐾Senior Bailey Paskell finished 3rd in the 50-yard Breaststroke and 10th in the 50-yard Backstroke.
🏊♂️Senior Owen Rusnak finished 3rd in the 50-yard Freestyle and 4th in the 50-yard Butterfly.
🐾Sophomore Caleb Camp finished 8th in the 50-yard Backstroke.
🏊♂️Sophomore Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 100-yard Breaststroke, setting a new school record, and 1st in the 50-yard Freestyle.
🐾Sophomore Madison Hirtle finished 4th in the 100-yard Freestyle and 5th in the 50-yard Backstroke.
🏊♂️Sophomore Grace Rush finished 8th in the 50-yard Butterfly and 10th in the 50-yard Freestyle.
🐾Freshman Olivia Rusnak finished 2nd in the 100-yard Backstroke and 7th in the 100-yard Breaststroke.
The Panthers swim next on Saturday at Ohio University at the Roosenberg Invitational.

Maysville 3rd grade students brought the holiday spirit to life during their Christmas Program last night.🎶
With a “Sweet Treats of the Season” theme, they sang about peppermint candy canes, sugar cookies, sugar plums, and fruitcake. The evening featured 4 amazing solos, student speakers, and a joyful performance by the entire grade. 🍬🍪🍭

🐾6-12 Food Drive🐾
The annual canned food drive is in full swing in the 6-12! Beginning on December 3rd when students return from break, the following items will receive bonus points when brought in on their assigned day! As always, any food items are accepted and appreciated, but this is just another chance to earn points towards prizes by earning double points for items that are still needed. The individual for each grade level who receives the most items/points will get a prize and the advisory who has the most items/points will get a prize as well.

📸Tomorrow is picture retake day. 📸 You must send in the original picture package when your child is getting retakes and if your child did not have their picture taken on picture day, they will tomorrow. If you want to order, you can do so online or stop in and get a picture package brochure.
Weekly Athletics for 12/2 - It is recommended that you purchase tickets for Boys HS Basketball online: https://events.hometownticketing.com/ Search: Maysville Go to individual events and select. Passes are no longer offered (we are not selling anymore this year). Reserved Boys Basketball Seats will not be offered until next year. Tickets for HS events are limited due to the sale of passes and those who get into events for free. Buy online and get updates when any event is postponed or cancelled through your email. If school is cancelled due to inclement weather, middle school games are automatically cancelled.
