Maysville Elementary School is thrilled to announce its first-ever Family Literacy Night, taking place Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the YMCA.
This exciting, off-site event brings families together for an evening designed to celebrate reading, learning, and community connection in a fun and engaging setting. With interactive literacy activities, family-friendly experiences, and a welcoming atmosphere, this night promises to be a memorable opportunity for families to grow together as readers. The Panthers swam against 16 teams at the Kenyon Invitational on Saturday at Kenyon College. The Women’s team finished 8th and the Men’s finished 9th.🏊♂️🐾🏊♀️
🐾Team Highlights:
-The Women’s Relay Team of Olivia Rusnak, Leila Hawk, Grace Rush, and Madison Hirtle finished 7th in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 8th in the 200 Medley Relay.
-The Men’s Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Evan Becker, Evan James, and Greyson Hearing finished 9th in the 200 Medley.
🐾Top 10 Individual Finishes included:
-Junior Caleb Camp finished 7th in the 100 Backstroke and 10th in the 200 Freestyle.
-Junior Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 500 Freestyle and 4th in the 200 Freestyle.
