Students of the Maysville Drama Club recently traveled to Columbus to attend the national tour of SIX the Musical. Experiencing live, professional theater provides valuable learning opportunities for our students, and this high-energy production was both engaging and inspiring.🎭🐾

🐾Maysville Helping Hands Brings Holiday Support Maysville Families🐾
Maysville Helping Hands proudly supported local families by providing essential food items, gifts, and resources to those in need. Through this effort, 27 gallon totes of food were distributed, including canned goods, cereal, macaroni and cheese, ramen, along with fresh apples and oranges, milk, bread, and turkey for every family. Families with three or more students also received hams to help make their holiday meals extra special.
In addition to food assistance, families received gifts purchased from student wishlists, a Reisbecks gift card, and the opportunity to select additional items for their children. In total, Helping Hands served 81 families, supporting 210 students across the Maysville district.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the Maysville staff and students that supported our local food drive and the generosity of local businesses and organizations. Central Pike, Tats Pizzeria, and South Town Gym helped collect canned goods, while Phillips Meats generously donated hams. Additional support came from Toys 4 Tots, the Straker Foundation, and the Y-Bridge Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
A sincere thank you goes out to all staff and community members who adopted students and purchased gifts, as well as to the dedicated Maysville staff and student volunteers from the Middle School Student Council, Interact, and National Honor Society. Their kindness and commitment truly made a difference and helped brighten the season for many Maysville families.
