🐾 Sophomore Olivia Rusnak placed 16th in the Large School High School Girls Race.

On Friday night, we celebrated history at the 2025 Boys Basketball State Championship Ring Ceremony. The Panthers brought home the first Boys Basketball State Championship in school history, and it was an unforgettable moment honoring their hard work, dedication, and legacy. 💙🐾

What is your favorite coaching memory?
🐾"I have two. My entire first year here at Maysville with Coach Clarke was an awesome experience. Not much was expected from us from the outside, and we ended up winning 9 games and making the playoffs for the first time in school history. It was an incredible year."
🐾"The second was in 2022 at Morgan when we made the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. The community lined the streets as we went on our way to St. Clairsville. It was a really special moment."
Why do you love coaching at Maysville?
🐾 "This is my second time here at Maysville. I love the kids here. They really want to do a good job and be as good as they can be. This community is so supportive, and it really has a family atmosphere here." 🐾
What do you hope your student-athletes take away from your program?
🐾 "I hope that kids are able to take life skills with them for life after football. I hope that they take our core values of Humility, Excellence, Respect, and Oneness and can apply that to being great community members, spouses, and parents as they grow into adults. "
