✏️📖 Students in Mrs. Stoepfel’s English 9 class used evidence from the short story “The Hitchhiker” by Anthony Horowitz to create detailed character drawings. 🎨 This hands-on activity helped students strengthen their close reading skills and practice using textual evidence to support their ideas.

The 2025 Maysville Panther Marching Band had a very successful competition season this year. The Marching Panthers took their show entitled, "A Child's Imagination" to The University of Akron, Pickerington North High School and Lancaster High School as well as hosting their own contest Band-A-Palooza. The Marching Band received several awards this year from these contests including,
Best General Effect in Class B -- Pickerington North
Best Music in Class B -- Pickerington North
Best Percussion in Class B -- Pickerington North
1st place in Class B -- Pickerington North
2nd place in Class B -- University of Akron
State Qualification -- Band-A-Palooza & Lancaster
The Band traveled to Piqua High School on Sunday, October 26 to perform at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals where their overall rating was a II "Excellent".
The marching season may be over, but the band program is far from done for the year. Be on the lookout for information about upcoming concerts! 🐾🎶
