Over the past four years, the band has grown in skill and passion, giving students opportunities to explore music and potential career paths. The Maysville High School Swim Team competed against 32 teams & 600 swimmers at the Roosenberg Invitational at Ohio University, Saturday. The Maysville Girls finished 11th, tied with Dublin Scioto, and the Maysville Boys finished 19th.
Top 25 finishes included:

The Maysville Varsity Swim Team had its first meet on Wednesday, December 3rd, at the Scottie Sprints. The Women’s team finished 5th, and the Men’s team finished 7th.
Highlights:
The Women’s 200 Medley Relay Team of Leila Hawk, Madison Hirtle, Grace Rush, and Olivia Rusnak set a new school record with a time of 2:26.24.
Junior Leila Hawk set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly of 1.09.89.
The 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Paige Calendine, Leila Hawk, Grace Rush, and Olivia Rusnak finished 11th.
The Men’s 200 Medley Relay Team of Troy Luburgh, Evan Becker, Evan James, and Caleb Camp finished 10th, and the Men’s 200 Free Relay Team of Evan James, Evan Becker, Caleb Camp, and Greyson Hearing finished 8th.
Top 10 individual finishes included:
Junior Caleb Camp finished 4th in the 50-yard backstroke.
Junior Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 100-yard butterfly and 2nd in the 100-yard IM.
Junior Madison Hirtle finished 6th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 8th in the 50-yard freestyle.
