The Maysville Girls Bowling Team defeated New Lexington last night.Jacey Waxler led the way with a career-high game (221) and series (421) as Maysville jumped out to an early lead and finished strong, 1792–1544.

Mrs. Bankes’s biology students wrapped up their Cellular Respiration unit with a yeast fermentation lab, using balloons to observe how temperature affects enzyme activity. Students made predictions, collected data, and discovered which temperatures work best for respiration without oxygen. Hands-on experiments make big science ideas easier to understand!

Join us tonight as we recognize our seniors beginning at 5:30 PM, with tip-off to follow at 6:00 PM. Come out and support our Panthers and help us celebrate our senior athletes! 💙🐾

🏀🐾Maysville Boys Basketball Fundraiser 🐾🏀

Congratulations to the Maysville Girls basketball team for defeating John Glenn with a score of 37-34. The panthers were led by Evee Mathews with 13 points, Avery Daniels with 8 points and Sophie Dennis with 8 points. 🏀🐾

The Panthers competed on Monday at Coshocton. The Women’s Team finished 2nd overall, and the Men’s Team finished 3rd.

🐾Highlights:
-The Women’s 200 Medley Relay Team of Leila Hawk, Madison Hirtle, Grace Rush & Olivia Rusnak finished 2nd.

-The Women’s 200 Relay Team of Paige Calendine, Madison Hirtle, Grace Rush, and Olivia Rusnak finished 5th.

-The Men’s 200 Medley Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Evan Becker, Evan James, and Greyson Hearing finished 3rd.

-The Men’s 400 Relay Team of Evan James, Caleb Camp, Troy Luburgh, and Evan Becker finished 2nd.

🐾Top 10 Individual Finishes:
-Junior Caleb Camp finished 1st in the 200 Freestyle and 3rd in the 100 Freestyle.

-Junior Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 200 Freestyle and 1st in the 100 Backstroke.

-Junior Greyson Hearing finished 10th in the 50 Freestyle.

-Junior Madison Hirtle finished 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke and 3rd in the 100 Freestyle.

-Junior Grace Rush finished 1st in the 400 Freestyle and 5th in the 50 Freestyle.

-Sophomore Olivia Rusnak finished 4th in the 100 Backstroke.

-Freshman Evan Becker finished 2nd in the 100 Butterfly and 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke.

-Freshman Evan James finished 1st in the 200 IM, and 3rd in the 100 Backstroke.

The Panthers swim next on Saturday, January 17, at Coshocton High School at the Riverview Invitational. Go Panthers!
