On Wednesday, December 6th, Maysville High School will be hosting a Family Engagement Night from 2:35-7:00. We have a variety of activities and opportunities for families to take part in. Below is a list of activities that will be going on that evening.
2:40 - 6:30
Schedule a meeting with your student’s teachers. Please contact the teacher or the office to schedule a time.
3:30 - 4:30 - Library
SNAP and nutrition education class for families and students. This would also count as a required parent engagement activity for those with students taking drivers education though our 21st Century After School Program.
4:30 - 6:30 - Cafeteria
Representatives from Muskingum University, Zane State College, West Liberty University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Ohio State University, Marietta College, Ohio University, and Scholarship Central will have information tables for those interested in learning about these colleges and Universities.
6:30 - 7:00 - Library
Our guidance counselors will host an informational meeting about financial
aid and the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid).
2:35 - 7:30 - School Store - MakerSpace
Our New School Store will be open for business. The store is located in the MakerSpace just off of the rotunda in the 6-12 building. The school store has apparel and other Maysville Panther items for sale. The items in the store are created, produced, and sold by students in our School Store class here at the high school.
6:00 - 9:00 - Girls Basketball Game
Our girls basketball team will take on Philo with the junior varsity game starting at 6:00.
The varsity games will start shortly after the conclusion of the junior varsity game
(approximately 7:00).

The Maysville High School Choir🎼 performed in The 34th Annual Muskingum County Holiday Choir Concert on Saturday evening. They performed three pieces and performed eight more pieces with all the other high school choirs in Muskingum county. This combined choir consisted of over 260 students! Congratulations to the Maysville High School choir on a great performance and for all they hard work to prepare for the concert!

The Maysville Women’s Swim Team and Men’s Team each placed 4th out of 18 teams in the Small School Invitational Saturday at Kenyon College, breaking 4 school records.
Senior Casen Hirtle broke the school record in the 50 Freestyle. Freshman Leila Hawk broke the school record in the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke. And, the Men’s 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Owen Rusnak, Elijah Mayle, Caleb Camp, and Casen Hirtle set a new school record.
The Women’s 200 Medley Relay Team finished 5 th . The Men’s 200 Medley Relay finished 6th.
The Women’s 200 Free Relay finished 10 th . The Men’s 200 Free Relay finished 4th .
And, the Men’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay finished 4th .
Top 10 Finishes included:
🏊♂️Senior Tillman Hawk finished 4th in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 5th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Senior Casen Hirtle finished 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 4th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Junior Elijah Mayle finished 7th in the 100 Yard Freestyle and 10th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
🏊♂️Junior Owen Rusnak finished 5th in the 100 Yard Backstroke and 6th in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Freshman Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 4th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
🏊♂️Freshman Madison Hirtle finished 10th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Freshman Grace Rush finished 9th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
The Panthers swim next on Saturday at Coshocton at the Riverview Invitational.
