🐾Attention Maysville 9-12 Families🐾
Tuesday, September 26th is the first parent engagement night at Maysville High School. This is for grades 9-12 only. Come out and see some of the great things going on in our Career Pathways, our MakerSpace, and our award winning fine arts program. Please take some time to talk to your student’s teachers and open that line of communication that is key to student success. Afterwards you can see the volleyball team in action vs. Sheridan starting at 5:00 with 9th grade and junior varsity action or head to the MAC for the boys soccer match vs. Sheridan starting at 6:00. Or, if you were already planning on attending either of those sporting events, you can come early and visit with the teachers. No appointment is necessary, but if you have a specific time in mind, contact the teacher(s) or the office and we will try to accommodate your request.
Tuesday evening will also be a family engagement night for our 21st Century program, including getting information about Driver’s Education. Those looking to take advantage of the After School Driver’s Ed program are required to attend two engagement nights, this could be one of them. If you cannot make it Tuesday, there will be multiple engagement opportunities throughout the school year. The engagement meeting begins at 5:00 and will be held in the MakerSpace.

🌳🥾⛷️Attention all 6-12 Adventure/Ski Club Families⛷️🥾🌳
This meeting is for all students and their parents grades 6-12. Winter will be here before we know it and that means ski and snowboarding season will be upon us. If you think you might be interested in skiing or snowboarding, there will be an informational meeting for STUDENTS AND PARENTS on Tuesday, September 26th at 6:00pm. We will most likely meet in the Makerspace or the library of the high school. We will make sure you know where to go when you arrive.
This meeting will discuss multiple aspects of the Maysville Adventure Club, focussing primarily on the winter season and our trips to Snow Trails in Mansfield.

🐾An Update from the Director of Safety, Ric Roush 🐾
For the last several days, a Zanesville man has posted several social media posts with serious accusations and threats against area law enforcement officers. More recently, he decided to add schools to his list of threats, specifically Zanesville City Schools. As with any threats of this kind, the threats were investigated immediately and thoroughly. This individual was arrested early this morning and is now in custody. This once again an example of the importance of bringing threats of any kind, including social media, to someone's attention immediately. Big shout out to local law enforcement agencies for working to keep us all safe.

THANK YOU O*TAG PARENTS!
We value your input. We appreciate the time you took to complete the survey. The staff will review the results and look at how we can grow and continue to make our program the best. Congratulations to Rilyn and Micheal!
