🐾Maysville Middle School Afterschool Program🐾
The Maysville Middle School Afterschool Program provides a variety of programs for our students. The first hour of after school is academic help and the second hour is a variety of unique activities that the students can participate in. Some of these fun activities are fishing🎣, self-defense, outdoor games, dance, photography📸, scrapbooking, community service club, wild about plants club🌱🪴, and eco club🌎.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting tonight at 6:00PM in the library for any families interested in this outstanding and unique opportunity for our students.

Congratulations to the Maysville Boys Soccer Team⚽ for defeating Sheridan with a score of 5-0. It was also youth league night last night for the panthers. The youth league players were able to go onto the field and shoot goals into the goal🥅 at halftime.

Maysville High School Junior Class Fundraiser
In Mr. Rupe's Science Class, they have been studying the interior structure of the Earth🌎. Scientists study Earth's interior structure by monitoring and measuring seismic (earthquake) waves. Students have been studying the properties and behaviors of these seismic waves in class. The outdoor lab activity using a chalk model of the Earth is a fun way for students to apply their knowledge of Earth's interior structure and properties of seismic waves to a variety of questions and tasks.

🐾Attention Maysville 9-12 Families🐾
Today, September 26th is the first parent engagement night at Maysville High School. This is for grades 9-12 only. Come out and see some of the great things going on in our Career Pathways, our MakerSpace, and our award winning fine arts program. Please take some time to talk to your student’s teachers and open that line of communication that is key to student success. Afterwards you can see the volleyball team in action vs. Sheridan starting at 5:00 with 9th grade and junior varsity action or head to the MAC for the boys soccer match vs. Sheridan starting at 6:00. Or, if you were already planning on attending either of those sporting events, you can come early and visit with the teachers. No appointment is necessary, but if you have a specific time in mind, contact the teacher(s) or the office and we will try to accommodate your request.
Tonight will also be a family engagement night for our 21st Century program, including getting information about Driver’s Education. Those looking to take advantage of the After School Driver’s Ed program are required to attend two engagement nights, this could be one of them. If you cannot make it Tuesday, there will be multiple engagement opportunities throughout the school year. The engagement meeting begins at 5:00 and will be held in the MakerSpace.
Congratulations to the Maysville High School Golf Team⛳ for winning the Sectional Tournament with a score of 316. Hoyt Dodson was a medalist with a score of 73.
