🐾Maysville School Supply Drive🐾
As the school year ends, we’re collecting gently used school supplies to donate to children in need
through Midwest Mission, a nonprofit organization. This is a great way to teach students about
generosity and recycling.
How to Help:
• Drop items in labeled boxes at school by the end of the day on May 30.
• Supplies will be sent to Honduras to help students finish their school year.
(items needed on the image)
Please don’t include any liquids (like glue or paint).
Thank you for making a difference!

🐾Piñatas for The Wilds!🐾
Art class at Maysville Elementary has been a flurry of creativity for 4th grade students since March. Students brainstormed, planned, and built cardboard structures/forms of animals. To connect and stabilize the structures, students applied torn newspaper strips coated in papier-mâché paste. The entire grade level collaborated for 2 months to create 16 original piñata creations. The piñatas will be used by The Wilds for animal enrichment. Students have been able to view videos and pictures of animals such as the Bactrian Camels, Grevy’s Zebra, Persian Onager, Reticulated Giraffe, Sichuan Takin, and Southern White Rhinos interacting with their piñatas.
