🌾💙 Maysville FFA Wraps Up National FFA Week with Fun & Tradition! 💙🌾 On Friday, the Maysville FFA Chapter hosted the first annual "Ag Olympics" as an extension of their National FFA Week Celebration. Members of each pathway competed in games such as a straw bale toss, sack races, wheelbarrow races, tug of war, and balloon sheep herding! Congrats to the winners of each event and thank you to everyone for their participation! Additionally, they concluded their FFA Week "Slushy Shower" Fundraiser with the teachers that raised the most money receiving a Slushy Shower, an Ohio FFA Camp Tradition that we were able to bring here to our own chapter! Shout out to Mrs. Stoepfel, Mrs. Parker, Mr. Geis, and Mrs. Kim for being good sports and taking one for the team to support our chapter! The Maysville FFA Chapter would like to thank the entire high school for celebrating National FFA Week with them and collaborating to make the entire event a success! 1st Graders Explore Glaciers and Icebergs in the Tinker Lab! Maysville 1st graders embarked on a chilly adventure in the Tinker Lab, exploring the fascinating world of glaciers and icebergs! Through movement, experiments, and games, students discovered the science behind ice and how it behaves in our world. One of the most exciting discoveries was learning that icebergs float, with more ice hidden below the surface than above. This led to a thrilling competition called the "Ice Race," where teams of three students raced to melt ice cubes using different methods: ❄️ Team 1: Used the warmth of their hands. 💧 Team 2: Added droplets of hot water. 🧂 Team 3: Sprinkled salt on the ice. Laughter and excitement filled the room as students observed which method melted the ice the fastest while learning how different forces impact ice. Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride

🏊‍♂️🐾Maysville Middle School Swim Meet🐾🏊‍♀️ The Maysville Middle School Swim Team competed in the third of four season meets on Friday, April 4, at the Muskingum Family YMCA. 🐾 The 200-yard Medley Relay Team, including Ashlynn Lewellen, Evan James, and Evan Becker, finished 3rd .  🐾The 200-yard Freestyle Relay Team of Evan Becker, Clara James, Ashlynn Lewellen, and Evan James finished 4th . Top 10 Individual Finishes Included: 🐾 Eighth Grader Evan Becker finished 2nd in the 50 Butterfly, 3rd in the 100-yard Individual Medley, and 4th in the 200-yard Individual Medley. 🐾 Eighth Grader Evan James finished 1 st in the 50 Butterfly, 1 st in the 100-yard Individual Medley, and 2nd in the 200-yard Individual Medley. 🐾 Sixth Grader Ashlynn Lewellen finished 2nd in the 50-yard Breaststroke, and 6th in the 50-yard Backstroke. 🐾 Fifth Grader Clara James finished 3rd in the 100-yard Breaststroke and 7 th in the 50-yard Butterfly. The Panthers swim next Friday at their last meet of the season at 6 p.m. at the Muskingum YMCA. Go Panthers! Proud to be panther. #PantherPride
