The Maysville girls wrestling team had a great day at the Madison Comprehensive Tournament and came away as tournament champions. This group showed a lot of grit, effort, and heart on the mat. Great job panthers!

🐾Maysville Weekly Athletics🐾

The Panthers swam against 16 teams at the Kenyon Invitational on Saturday at Kenyon College. The Women’s team finished 8th and the Men’s finished 9th.🏊‍♂️🐾🏊‍♀️

🐾Team Highlights:
-The Women’s Relay Team of Olivia Rusnak, Leila Hawk, Grace Rush, and Madison Hirtle finished 7th in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 8th in the 200 Medley Relay.
-The Men’s Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Evan Becker, Evan James, and Greyson Hearing finished 9th in the 200 Medley.

🐾Top 10 Individual Finishes included:
-Junior Caleb Camp finished 7th in the 100 Backstroke and 10th in the 200 Freestyle.

-Junior Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 500 Freestyle and 4th in the 200 Freestyle.

-Junior Grace Rush finished 6th in the 100 Butterfly.

-Freshman Evan Becker finished 9th in the 500 Freestyle.

-Freshman Evan James finished 9th in the 100 Backstroke.

The Panthers swim next on January 3rd at the Riverview Invitational in Coshocton. 🐾🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Maysville Local Schools will be on Winter Break from December 22nd through January 2nd. School will resume on January 5th.
