"To me, being part of the Panther family means being rooted in a legacy of pride, resilience, and community. As an alum, I carry with me the values and experiences that shaped who I am today. Now, returning as a teacher at my alma mater, it feels incredibly meaningful to give back to the same halls that once inspired me. It’s a full-circle moment — I get to support, guide, and uplift the next generation of Panthers, just as others once did for me. The Panther family isn’t just a school community; it’s a lifelong connection built on shared purpose, support, and the belief that we rise together."

🍎 What are you most excited about for this school year?
"As a first-year teacher, I’m most excited about building strong relationships with my students and creating a classroom environment where they feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn. I’m also really looking forward to bringing lessons to life through science labs and learning alongside my students every day. It’s a big year of growth, not just for them, but for me as well, and I’m excited to embrace the challenges and joys that come with that."

Mrs. Mercer’s and Mrs. Odlivak’s classes enjoyed a trip to the pond today as part of their PBIS celebration and to mark the end of their unit. What a fun way to learn and celebrate together! 🐟🐾

2nd Grade Kicks Off the Year in the Tinker Lab!

Maysville 2nd graders started the school year with hands-on exploration and innovation in the Tinker Lab!

Students rotated through three exciting stations:
🐾At Station 1, they used iPads to control our Dash robots, experimenting with the controller function and learning the basics of coding and robotics.
🐾Station 2 challenged their math skills with a fast-paced, number sense game called LEAP!
🐾 Station 3, students got creative at the Free Build LEGO table, guided by our awesome PAL, Mrs. Edwards!
