🐾Attention Maysville High School Families -Academic Awards Ceremony 🐾

The Academic Awards Ceremony for the 2024-2025 school year will be held on Monday, September 29th at 6 PM. This ceremony will recognize students who were in grades 9-11 last school year. Students with a 3.5 or higher GPA for last school year will be recognized and receive their Academic Award. Eligible students will receive an invitation during the week of September 22nd. A list of recipients for each grade level will also be posted on the office window.

"I’m excited to dive into the new online learning program with Edgenuity, and I’m also proud to be part of the athletic department. I’m looking forward to watching all of our teams compete and succeed this year.”

When arriving for student drop off please form two vehicle lines once inside the parking lot (as shown in blue and yellow). Students exiting on blue proceed directly to sidewalk, students exiting on yellow proceed to crosswalk. Please remain in line until you are near the stop sign to exit the parking lot. DO NOT PASS around others. This is to help with the safety of the students.

"There is no town like South Town. I attended Maysville from a young age and graduated from here. The community, the teachers, administrators and everyone in between truly love our kids. The relationships we have with our kids isn't just in the classroom but in the community as well. I am excited that I am finally HOME and teaching the same kids that I once was years ago. "

🍎 What are you most excited about for this school year?
"This is my first year at Maysville. I am excited to learn and grow with the staff who taught me many years ago. One thing I am looking forward to this year is watching the basketball team play and supporting my kids in their extracurricular activities outside of the classroom. "

Mr. Ellsworth’s Outdoor Recreation class took learning outside today. Students practiced how to repair bikes and enjoyed riding them once the work was done.🚲🐾

Mrs. Wahl’s Spanish 2 students had a great time with their group reading activity.📚 They practiced building sentences and storytelling by acting out the story with gestures and props.

Last year in Spanish 1, students read the prequel to this book and now are finding out how Carlos acquired his boots.
