Maysville was well represented at OMEA District IX Honor Band on January 18th in Marietta, Ohio. There were 14 high school students and 7 middle school students who represented the school. This is the largest number of participants Maysville has ever sent to this event. The high school group was conducted by OMEA Executive Director Mr. Jay Wardeska, while the middle school group was lead by the Director of Bands at Grove City high school, Mr. Jason Graham.

Maysville Wrestling Senior Night Dual Sponsored by Pro Performance Excavating.
Maysville wrestling will be hosting Tri-Valley Wednesday January 22,2025 at 6:00PM at the High School Gymnasium,
The Maysville Athletic Department will be giving free admission to all Maysville HS Students.
Additionally, each student that attends will have their ticket put in a drawing during the dual. There will be five (5) $100.00 cash winners. Let's get the students out to the wrestling dual and give our 5 seniors one last Maysville Wrestling home dual experience.
We will also recognize our youth wrestling program wrestlers. All youth wrestlers get in free by wearing your Maysville Youth wrestling shirt and have a paying adult with them.
Maysville Wrestling would like to thank Pro Performance Excavating and the Maysville Athletic Department for their support in making Senior Night and our last home wrestling dual an exciting environment.

The panthers were led by Gator Nichols with 25 points and 4 assists, Landon Iden with 17 points and 3 assists, Kane Roehrig with 13 points and 3 rebounds, Jordyn Watson with 11 points and 8 rebounds, and Gavin Ferguson with 10 points. 🏀🐾

The Maysville Varsity Swim Team competed at Ohio University on Friday, January 17, against Athens and Groveport Madison.
The Women’s 200 Yard Medley Relay Team of Leila Hawk, Bailey Paskell, Grace Rush, and Olivia Rusnak finished 2nd.
The Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Olivia Rusnak, Bailey Paskell, Claire Heiney, and Grace Rush finished 3rd.
The Men’s Relay Team of Owen Rusnak, Caleb Camp, Elijah Mayle, and Landyn Kennedy finished 2nd in the 400 Freestyle Relay and 3rd in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
Top 5 individual finishes included:
🏊♂️Senior Landyn Kennedy finished 4th in the 200 Free.
🏊♂️Senior Elijah Mayle finished 3rd in the 200 IM and 5th in the 100 Freestyle.
🏊♀️Senior Bailey Paskell finished 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke and 5th in the 100 Free.
🏊♂️Senior Owen Rusnak finished 3rd in the 50 Freestyle, 4th in the 100 Back.

The Panthers will celebrate their Seniors and compete again on Wednesday, January 22nd, at the County Meet at the Muskingum YMCA.
