Maysville Middle School Makerspace students designed a complete zoo experience from the ground up! First, as researchers, they learned how animals live—whether they are solitary or social—to calculate exactly how much space their habitats would need. Next, as architects, they used their math skills to create a scale factor, shrinking the real-world measurements into accurate plans for their models. To complete the experience, they became graphic designers, creating everything needed to welcome visitors, including official logos, zoo maps, and grand opening invitations.

Maysville High School students gave their time to support the community by volunteering at the Forever Dad’s Golf Outing. We are proud of our Panthers for stepping up and making a positive impact! 🐾💛

🐛 4th Graders Save Fred in the Ultimate Challenge! 🛶
Our creative 4th graders took on the mission of “Saving Fred”—a gummy worm who had capsized his boat! 🚤 But there was a twist: they could only use paper clips to help him, and they had to follow specific constraints, like not letting Fred fall into the water! 🌊
Through collaboration, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box, the team worked together to keep Fred safe over and over again. And that wasn’t all! The challenge wrapped up with a fun twist—students built worm burrows using the ThinkFun Gravity Maze game, testing their engineering skills even further!
Huge shoutout to these problem solvers for their determination, creativity, and teamwork!
