Join the Archery team on Saturday, October 24, from 4–7 PM at the Newton Township Fire Department for an evening of good food, fun activities, and support for our Maysville Archery Program!

The Maysville Panther Marching Band hosted the 16th annual Band-A-Palooza this past Saturday! Several bands attended and took home awards for their performances.
Congratulations to the bands that qualified for the OMEA State Finals, including Crooksville, John Glenn, Highland, Hilliard Davidson, and, of course, your Maysville Panther Marching Band.

Maysville BPA spent an exciting day at Nationwide Arena exploring the business behind the Columbus Blue Jackets! Students toured the arena, enjoyed ice skating, and heard from a panel of professionals in marketing, sales, and premium sponsorship management. They gained valuable insight into what it takes to operate a major sports and entertainment venue on both game days and non-game days. A great day of learning, career exploration, and connecting classroom concepts to real-world business!🏒

The French Club enjoyed their “fête d’Halloween” on Monday, October 19th. There were costumes, team games, crafts and of course, scary desserts! Several judges from our high school staff voted for the scariest dessert and a special “Félicitations” goes out to Brianna for winning the grand prize for her frighteningly beautiful dessert.

Have you ever tried your hand at cup stacking? Our 3rd graders put their resilience (grit) and collaboration skills to the test by tackling a series of cup stacking challenges. The twist? Teams could only use a “cup wrangler” made from string and a rubber band to complete their tasks! Some stacks toppled, some held strong, and everyone learned an important lesson about grit. Michael Jordan once said: “I have failed over and over again in my life… and that is why I succeed.”

Mrs. Hatfield’s first graders had a wonderful visit from Hocking College dental students who taught them the importance of good dental hygiene! From brushing and flossing to keeping those smiles bright and healthy, our students learned valuable tips to take care of their teeth. Thank you to these future dental professionals for making learning fun and helping our first graders build healthy habits! 😁🪥🦷

The Maysville Panthers put together an outstanding team performance Friday night, defeating the River View Black Bears 56-6! The Panthers came out firing on all cylinders, scoring 28 points in the first quarter and building a commanding 49-0 halftime lead. Jayce Daniels led the rushing attack with 115 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 5 carries, while Sawyer Bailey completed 7 of 8 passes for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns, adding another score on the ground. The Panthers' defense was equally impressive, forcing 3 interceptions, including 2 by Jayce Daniels and 1 by John Harper, while holding River View scoreless through three quarters. Congratulations to our players and coaches on a tremendous team effort and another great night of Panther football!

Maysville first graders had a blast celebrating all they learned about the human body with fun, hands-on learning stations!

What a fun way to bring our learning to life! A HUGE thank-you to our Healthcare Pathway students and Nurse Patton for helping make our celebration extra special! 💙💛
