Maysville Elementary is hosting a Panther Pet Drive from March 23–27!
We are collecting donations to support the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center. Items needed include:
🐶 Dog shampoo/conditioner
🐶 Medium/Large dog collars
🐶 Dog toys
🐶 Pill pockets
🐶 Soft dog treats
🐶 Dish soap
🐶 Gently used or new towels and blankets
Special Incentive: The classroom with the most donations will earn a fun trucker hat decorating party!

Maysville 1st Grade Parent Engagement Day 🌿🐾
Our 1st grade students recently celebrated the end of their CKLA Habitats domain with a fun and interactive Parent Engagement Day!
Families were invited into the school to see firsthand what students have been learning about animal habitats and how plants and animals survive in their environments. A special thank you to guest speaker Melissa Spring for sharing her knowledge about turkeys and their habitats!
Students proudly showcased their learning by creating habitat dioramas and presenting them during our “Habitat Walk.”
It was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with their child’s learning and celebrate all the hard work and growth throughout this unit. Great job, Panthers! 💙💛

Tickets for the state championship game on Friday at UD Arena at 4:15 PM will go on sale today at 12:00 PM. Please note that all ticket sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
For those purchasing tickets in advance, if Maysville wins against Wyoming, we will be the visiting team for the state championship game. The visiting team tickets will be green, while the home team tickets will be blue.

Congratulations to the High School Concert Band who earned a Superior (1) rating at District Contest at John Glenn High School on Saturday, March 14, 2026. This qualifies them for the OMEA State Large Group Competition that will take place in late April!
The High School Concert Choir also had the opportunity to perform this weekend. They received an Excellent (2) rating!

Maysville students recently had the opportunity to attend a college fair at Muskingum University. They took a short campus tour and then spent time at the fair speaking with representatives from 40+ different colleges.
It was a great experience for students to explore future opportunities and learn more about their college options! 🎓🐾

The Maysville High School Band and Choir will be traveling to New Concord this Saturday to compete in the OMEA District Contest. They will have one opportunity to qualify for the OMEA State Contest.
The band will perform at John Glenn High School at 9:30 AM, and the choir will perform at John Glenn Middle School at 11:55 AM.
Anyone wishing to attend should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure seating, as the doors may close once performances begin. Admission is free.
