Lilah Jones had a standout performance, driving in five runs on three hits to lead Maysville Varsity Panthers to an 18-14 win over New Lexington. After battling back and forth early, the Panthers erupted for 11 runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game. Maysville totaled 14 hits on the night, with multiple players contributing at the plate and on the bases, combining for 11 stolen bases. Lily Tumblin earned the win in the circle, helping secure an exciting, high-scoring team victory.

The Maysville Middle School Band and Choir students have been busy showcasing their talents. On April 11, students participated in the Solo & Ensemble Contest at West Muskingum High School, with 41 events featuring over 50 Maysville students. In addition, more than 75 middle school students performed solos throughout the week-what an incredible display of dedication and talent!
