Maysville High School will be hosting the United Way Hot Dog Eating Contest on Wednesday, May 13! 🐾

This event supports the United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties, whose mission is to enhance community health and well-being, promote financial security, support youth development, and strengthen resilience for a brighter future. 💙

🐾Maysville will be offering sports physicals for student athletes in grades 6-11.🐾

-The preliminary screening process will be on Thursday, May 7th. All student athletes need to update Final Forms for the 2026-2027 school year. Use the link below:⬇️

-If your student is not attending on the Maysville campus, they will need to come to the high school gym between the hours of 9am-12pm.

-The cost of the physical is $10.00 per athlete, checks to Maysville Athletic Booster.

-Students who completed the screening process on May 7th will be pulled during the school day to complete the physical process at the in-house clinic of the MVHC.

-Please contact Mrs. Harper in the middle school office for questions.

Mrs. Hann’s class celebrated finishing their Heat Unit in science with a fun (and tasty) activity-making s’mores! 🔥🍫

As they prepared their treats, each student discussed the type of heat used to cook their s’more and the changes in the properties of matter that occurred during the process. It was a great hands-on way to apply what they have learned.

Medical Terminology students recently visited Muskingum University for Nursing Exploration Day. 🩺

Students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on medical lab simulations, tour the campus, and explore the advanced Anatomage table. This experience gave them a closer look at careers in the healthcare field and the skills needed for success.
