Maysville was represented at the OMEA District IX Honor Choir event by 12 high school and 12 middle school choir students! Our high school singers worked with Dr. Peter Haley, Director of Choral Activities at Ohio University, while our middle school singers were led by Mr. Angelo Knight, Director of Choral and Vocal Music at Licking Heights High School. Since I get to teach all K–5 students, I’m looking forward to building connections with every grade level and student, encouraging them to be active, and showing them that physical education is about having fun, working together, and building lifelong healthy habits."

“I made the Ohio State cheer team in college, was a competitive gymnast for growing up, and cheered competitively—including at "Worlds" in Disney World at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. I’m also obsessed with tennis shoes and love adding new pairs to my collection.”
