Mrs. Hann’s class celebrated finishing their Heat Unit in science with a fun (and tasty) activity-making s’mores! 🔥🍫
As they prepared their treats, each student discussed the type of heat used to cook their s’more and the changes in the properties of matter that occurred during the process. It was a great hands-on way to apply what they have learned.

Students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on medical lab simulations, tour the campus, and explore the advanced Anatomage table. This experience gave them a closer look at careers in the healthcare field and the skills needed for success.

Maysville 1st grade students wrapped up their CKLA unit, A New Nation, with a fun tea party! 💙☕❤️
Throughout the unit, students learned about the American Revolution, why colonists sought independence from Great Britain, and key figures such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin. They also explored the basics of government and the meaning of freedom.

Greetings from Canada! 🍁
The Music Department has been pretty busy this weekend. On Friday, May 1 the high school band competed at the OMEA large group contest at Licking Heights receiving a “I” Superior rating.
Continuing into the weekend, students of the Maysville High School Band and Choir have been exploring parts of Toronto, Canada! They even had a chance to see Niagara Falls before returning home!

Dress Code: Students are asked to dress up like they are gardening/ready for rainy weather. Nature or garden themed tops like trees, flowers, rainbow, clouds, sun. Skirts, jeans, or khakis as bottoms would all be appropriate, and rainboots or regular shoes.
