Maysville HOSA President Myriah Hayes is spending the week at Georgetown University participating in the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship. She's gaining hands-on experience while exploring careers in medicine and public health. She is working with IOC.

Maysville Football will be hosting their annual youth football camp on Friday, July 31st, from 7-9 pm. The camp is no charge and is open to students entering grades kindergarten through eighth grade. No registration is required.

💙🐾💛 Happy Father’s Day, from Maysville Local School District. 💛🐾💙

At the 2026 HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, 2026 Maysville graduate Laynee Swingle earned 1st Place Internationally in the Patient Care Technician category! Laynee competed at the regional and state levels before qualifying to compete at the international level.

The international competition consisted of a first round written examination and, then, 23 qualifiers moved on to round two, which was a hands on skill-based assessment. All fifty states and several countries were represented at the conference. Chelsie Kim is the advisor of Maysville’s HOSA chapter. Congratulations, Laynee!

As Summer Break began, the student leaders of the Maysville FFA Chapter attended the Ohio FFA District 8 Chapter Officer Training at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum. Throughout three days, they took part in various leadership workshops, listened to keynote speakers, as well as enjoyed the outdoors by kayaking, fishing, completing the high ropes course, and more!

Most importantly, the team spent time planning and laying out events for the upcoming year in Maysville FFA. It was a fun and productive time for all. We can't wait to see what this year holds for these students!
