Maysville O*TAGS Preschool celebrated Valentine's Day❤️ with fun filled activities and sweets while enjoying time with their families during Parent Interaction Day. At the end of the celebration each child released a tagged balloon in celebration of WE LOVE OUR SCHOOL ! If you find one of our balloons please contact the email on the tag. Today Maysville O*TAGS kicked off Dude Be Kind week with wearing something yellow and posing for a whole group picture in front of the entrance. Students listened to a Kindness song, Mrs. Strickler read the story If You Plant A Seed and the children shared their thoughts and ideas about what it means to be kind. We will be talking about kindness the rest of the week.
Tuesday: Do something kind for a loved one.
Wednesday: Give someone a compliment.
Thursday: Do something kind for the elderly.
Friday: Do something Kind for local animals.

Maysville Bowling Team
The Maysville Bowling team participated in their league tournament this weekend. The girls team won their league tournament this weekend in Heath with a score of 2407. All league bowlers are as follows:

The J.W. and M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation awarded a grant of $5,000.00 to our elementary teachers. The funds assisted teachers in adding additional materials to their classroom libraries. Proud to be a panther! #PantherPride





Maysville Panther Swimming
The Panthers competed against 22 teams Saturday at the East Sectional Swim Meet at Steubenville High School. Congratulations to Tillman Hawk, who qualified to swim at the D2 District Meet this Thursday at Ohio State University.
The Women's Relay Team of Alissa Jinkens, Brooklyn Ponish, Bailey Paskell, and Claire Heiney finished 15th in the 200 Medley Relay and 18th in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
Top 20 finishers included:
Senior Alissa Jinkens finished 14th in the 100-Yard Backstroke.
Senior Brooklyn Ponish finished 12th in the 500-Yard Freestyle.
Junior Tillman Hawk finished 7th in the 500-Yard Freestyle and 13th in the 200-Yard Freestyle.
Sophomore Elijah Mayle finished 18th in the 50-Yard Freestyle & 19th in the 100-Yard Breaststroke.
Sophomore Owen Rusnak finished 11th in the 100-Yard Backstroke & 12th in the 200-Yard Freestyle.
Congratulations to the team on a great season, and good luck to Tillman.

Maysville Boys Basketball and Cheerleading Senior Night
It was another great night with a packed house at the Panther Pound. We celebrated four basketball seniors who were playing their last regular season game at the Panther Pound (Hayden Jarrett, Connor Larimer, Cole Roberts, Kyler Ryan). The cheerleaders seniors were (Takayla Holloway, Lexi Ihinger, Daylin Smith). It was a great night for the seniors as they were presented with the MVL trophy and got to finish the night cutting down the nets. Proud to the a Panther! Congratulations Seniors. #PantherPride

The Applause Applause feature of the Maysville Local School Board meetings is to showcase the amazing work that is happening in our school district. These individuals are nominated for their dedication and commitment to making Maysville Local Schools a great place to be. Maysville Local Schools Blood Drive
A blood drive will be hosted through the American Red Cross on Tuesday, February 28th in the High School Outdoor Rec Room from 8AM-2PM. Anyone 16 or older may donate, however if you are under 17, you must get a parental consent form signed, which you can get from one of the blood program leaders (Ella Shipley, Bailey Silver, and Carmin Farnsworth). With a shortage of blood supply in our community, your donation could save a life! All presenting donors will be entered to WIN a free 1 night stay in the Columbus Easton Hilton! Maysville High School Career Fair
Today, the High School hosted their annual Career Fair. At the Career Fair, students were able to walk around and talk to local business and organizations about their career fields and what their businesses offer. We want to thank all of the local businesses and organizations who volunteered their time today to meet with our students.
