Melissa Spring visited Maysville Elementary for Camo Day, and our students showed up in a big way! They raised $260 for Turkey Hunters Care, with all proceeds going to Maysville Helping Hands to purchase turkeys for families in need this holiday season. 🦃💙

Melissa also spent time educating students about the Eastern Wild Turkey, making the day both fun and educational.

The Maysville High School Concert Band traveled to Wright State University on Monday, November 24, 2025 as part of their "Road to OMEA Conference" concert series. The Concert Band was able to enjoy music from different ensembles at Wright State University, here about applying to not only Wright State, but also college in general and then ended their night performing a concert with the Wright State University Wind Symphony.

Join the band at their Winter Concert on Saturday, December 13 at 6:30 pm in the Auditieria of the 6-12 building along with the 5th grade band, 6th grade band, Middle School Band and Jazz Band!🐾🎶

"I am excited for the new school year because it provides another opportunity to work with my students and continue building a strong classroom community. This year is also particularly special, as my younger daughter has entered middle school, making it an especially meaningful time for our family."

"My oldest daughter is a Language Arts teacher at the Middle School, and I enjoy getting to see her every day."

Maysville was represented at the OMEA District IX Honor Choir event by 12 high school and 12 middle school choir students! Our high school singers worked with Dr. Peter Haley, Director of Choral Activities at Ohio University, while our middle school singers were led by Mr. Angelo Knight, Director of Choral and Vocal Music at Licking Heights High School. Great job students!🎶🐾
