Our first week winners of “Caught Ya”!! Students who are observed going out of their way to be “Kind” are given tickets to be entered in weekly and monthly drawings. Each week a winner will be drawn from each middle school grade. At the end of each month there will be one grand prize winner!
Each month the positive asset will change. A fun approach to recognizing those who are spreading positivity! The Straker Foundation has allowed us the financial opportunity to offer the winning students a vast array of prizes. This week the winners won a gift card to Walmart and a candy apple to kick off the fall season.

🎶Maysville Middle School and High School Choir Families🎶
Today will be the first booster meeting at 6:00 p.m.., located in the 6-12 choir room. These meetings are to review choir activities, fundraisers and competition information. Mrs. Odlivak's 3rd graders took a dive into their first unit of Language Arts with a book tasting📚!
The first unit is all about "The Sea". Students had the opportunity to explore each of the new books while enjoying tasty ocean themed treats such as shark fruit snacks, pretzel stick "fishing rods", Swedish fish, and even some blue juice~ ocean 🌊 waves.
Building excitement about reading is just one of the things we do here at MES makes us proud to be a PANTHER🐾!

🏈🐾Maysville vs Tri-valley🏈🐾
Maysville Local School District Special Education Department received professional development on site from our Special Education Coordinator, Jamie Sines, and School Psychologist, Amy Love on Friday. They received training on writing Evaluation Team Reports and new special education updates for the 2023-2024 school year. Staff members from all buildings participated in the training.

The Maysville High School Marching Band🎶 played on Friday at the Grand Re-opening of the Maysville Pike Walmart. They not only were directed by Band Director, Mr. Murphy, they were joined by many other famous mascots. Along with playing, the band was award a $500 check.

Tonight's 7th grade football game at Tri-Valley is a 6:00 pm start with the 8th grade game to follow. Both the 7th grade and 8th grade busses will leave at 4:30 pm.
