Mrs. Bankes’ 9th-grade Physical Science classes participated in the Egg Drop Challenge🥚 to demonstrate their understanding of introductory physics concepts they have learned throughout the semester. The students applied their creativity and knowledge of energy transfer, motion, and forces to construct a device that could sustain an egg when dropped from a significant height. The students then calculated their results and summarized their work in a scientific report. Great job, students!

🐾🎼Music in Our Schools Month🎼🐾
🎶🦕🍪 Maysville 3rd grade students had a blast exploring the enchanting world of classical music with Camille Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals"! 🎶 This week they dove into the captivating piece "Fossils," learning about its ABA form. But that's not all - they added a tasty twist to their learning experience! 🍪 Each student enjoyed a cookie, eating each layer as they journeyed through the music - the top of the cookie for the A section, the center for the B section, and the bottom of the cookie for the return to A. 🎼 What a deliciously fun way to engage with music!
