Maysville Juniors, Emma Rush and Scarlet Price, were State Champions in the group website division of the National History Day Contest. They joined the Ohio Delegation at a four day contest held in College Park, Maryland. Congratulations Emma and Scarlet.

🐾Attention Maysville Families🐾
If you have a student who will be entering Kindergarten, 7th grade or 12th grade they will need vaccinations before the start of the next school year. The State of Ohio requires that all Kindergarteners receive their kindergarten boosters, 7th graders receive a Tdap and meningitis vaccine, and all 12th graders receive a meningitis booster. Your child can be excluded from school if they do not receive the required vaccines by the 14th day of the new school year. Updated shot records can be emailed to the school nurse at mandy.sherrill@maysvillelocal.org, faxed to 740-452-9921, or turned in to the office on the first day of school.

Maysville Archery Team Competes in an Archery Open Tournament in Myrtle Beach
🎯Mat Harper placed 3rd place in Bullseye with a 297/300 and he took 1st place in 3D with a 298/300, with being overall 3D Male high scorer.
🎯Izzy Caplinger placed 3rd in 3D with a 280/300.

Updates from Costa Rica
Maysville Students planted trees in Monteverde, went on a crocodile safari, and saw the panthers.
The Maysville Boys' Basketball Team competed in team camp at Ohio University Athens finishing with a record of 17-3🏀. They made it to the final four of the overtime tournament at the end of camp. The JV Team made it to the finals of the overtime tournament.

🐾Update from the MAC project 🐾
Big changes are happening on our beautiful campus. The scoreboard is down and all the the turf has been removed. This week they will begin inserting the new scoreboard and preparing the field for the new turf. Stay tuned for an update later this week.

The Maysville Boys Basketball team hosted their annual Youth Basketball Camp🏀. They had over 90 players participate in grades Pre-K through 6th grade. It was a fun week full of skills, games, and competitions.
