🐾🎄Maysville High School Makerspace Highlight🎄🐾
The classes from Mrs. A. Smith and Mrs. Butler’s Fourth graders collaborated with the high school Makerspace teachers, Mr. Cox, Mr. Goldsmith and Senior Drew Daniels to make the keepsake ornaments for family members to enjoy.
Mr. Goldsmith and Drew presented information about the wood laser and how it was used to make the ornaments. They talked about the different machines that students use during their time in the Makerspace Lab.
Thank you to Drew for cutting and staining all 44 ornaments for our students.

🎅🎄Merry Christmas From The Maysville Local School District 🎄🎅
The Maysville Wrestling Program had another big tournament day making Maysville Wrestling History securing team tournament championships by both the Varsity High School Panthers and Middle School Panthers.
The Varsity Panthers won scored 219.5 team points taking first out of 13 teams, defeating Philo who took 2nd place with 214 points and host Sheridan 3rd place with 211.5 points.
The Varsity Panthers were lead by Senior Anthony Humphrey at the 138# weight class. Humphrey won the championship match by pinning Senior Jacob Berg from Warren in the 2nd period. Humphrey battled his way through the bracket collecting 3 wins by pin, 1 by tech fall and a decision.

The Middle School secured the team championship at Nelsonville York scoring 235 team points and were on top of all 25 teams in the tournament. The middle school Panthers lead the Perry County Panthers of New Lexington who took 2nd place with 184 points and Watkins was third with 182 team points.
The middle school Panthers were lead by Championship wins by Ziggy Sandobal, Jerik Winland, and Dalton Waite.

Maysville Local Schools is overwhelmed with excitement as we join hands to spread love and warmth this festive season. 🎄💖 Our incredible students, families, and staff came together for the 2023 Maysville Helping Hands food drive, a heartwarming initiative to support those in need within our school community.
This year we were able to help 64 families and 168 children, making a meaningful impact on their holiday season. 🎁 A huge shoutout to everyone who contributed to making this possible – your generosity has created smiles that will last a lifetime.
A special appreciation goes to all of the volunteers who donated of their time. Thank you to the Maysville High School Interact Club and National Honor Society for their dedicated volunteering, as well as the Maysville Middle School Student Council for their enthusiastic involvement. ❤️
