Mrs. Dixon’s students have been working on life skills along with academics. Each student helped with preparing lunch for the staff at the elementary. They each had a job the day of the lunch as well. This is a fun and learning filled experience for them. 🥪🐾

High School Academic Awards Nights will be held as follows:
🐾Grades 9-11 on Thursday, May 16th at 6 PM
🐾Seniors on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6 PM
In order to earn an Academic Award, students MUST earn a 3.5 or higher GPA during the first semester. Anyone who meets the criteria during the second semester can pick up their award in the fall when we return to school.
Students have been emailed this information as well as a list of recipients. Any questions contact Tiki Brown at the high school.
Maysville Elementary 21st Century 4th Graders joined the Cricut Club to learn to use design software in order to create their own nightlights, blankets, and tshirt designs. Students also learned the difference between using permanent vinyl and heat transfer vinyl for their creations. Our last session concluded with the 4th graders collaborating with 3rd graders and “teaching” them about tshirt design. Both grade levels are already asking about joining back up next year!

🤖 Maysville 4th grade students joined Mrs. Hill in the STEAM Lab for an exploration in robotics using Cubelets, magnetic blocks that bring learning to life. With no programming required, students discovered the magic of 'sensing, thinking, and acting' as they built robots that respond to light, sound, and temperature. Their creativity soared as they witnessed these cubelet creations come to life with surprisingly lifelike behaviors. 🚀
