The Maysville Middle School Wrestling Team🤼♂️ secured the team Championship for the 2nd year in a row at the Licking Valley Winter Classic scoring 175.5 team points they were lead by individual weight class champions:

The Maysville High School Girls team competed Sunday at the Hat and Shirt Shop Girls Invitational at Warren High School. Five girls competed in the tournament which represents the most female wrestlers Maysville has had on a team up to this point. Those girls were Kelsie Bryan, Taylor Cravenor, Josalynn Milotavich, Chloe Pierce and Kyrie Valentine. The girls placed 7th out of 24 teams with just 5 wrestlers. Placers were the 145# Champion Kelsie Bryan who pinned her way through the bracket stacking up 5 pins. Chloe Pierce taking 2nd place and 3rd place Josalynn Milotavich.
Milotavich and Pierce recorded their fist wins of their wrestling career.

The High School Gold team traveled to Warren, Ohio Saturday and competed in the Hickory Grove Market Invitational. Three wrestlers made the finals.

The Maysville High School Blue traveled to Barnesville for the Doan Ford Invitational. The Doan Ford is a 2 day tournament with teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky. The tournament is an elite level tournament with 32 man brackets with state and national ranked wrestlers.
Freshman Carter Abella wrestling in the 120# weight class made it to the championship match by pinning the 2 seed, a senior and returning state qualifier and defeating another senior and state qualifier in sudden victory. He came up a little sort in the Championship losing 4-0 to a senior who qualified for the championship by defeating the number 4 ranked wrestler in Ohio division 3 and last years fifth place finisher at the OHSAA State Championship.
Freshman DJ Waite wrestling in the 132# weight class made it to the third and fourth place match by pinning a Junior West Virginia state qualifier in the quarterfinals. Waite came up a little short in the semifinals losing 9-6 to the #1 seed who was ranked #6 in Ohio division 1. Waite then defeated the 3 seed a junior and ranked #10 in the state of Kentucky in the finals to take 3rd place.

Congratulations to the Maysville Boys Basketball Team for defeating Riverview with a score of 81-33.
🏀It was also Youth League Night for the boys teams.
🏀Alex Bobb was presented his 1000th point ball at center court before the start of the game.
