
The Maysville Boys Basketball Team competed in The Battle of the 614 showcase yesterday, which encompasses some of the top teams from all divisions in the state. The defeated Northridge with a score of 57-50 being led by Alex Bobb with 28 points and Gator Nichols with 21 points. Great job panthers!

Maysville Boys split a tri-match yesterday by beating Licking Valley 1973-1939 and losing to Sheridan 2163-1973. Our top scores were Jacob Miller with a 206,212 (418) and Matt Johnson with a 205 . Maysville moves to 11-5 for the season.
Maysville Girls team picked up a pair of victories yesterday by beating Licking Valley 1445-1356 and Sheridan 1445-1364. The girls were led by Alana Johnson 183,146(349) and Auska Johnson 163,155(318)The girls improve to 5-11 for the year.
Maysville is in action today at Village Lanes and Thursday is Senior night at 4:00 at Sunrise.

Maysville was well represented in this years district 9 OMEA Honor Band🎼. There were six middle school and seven high school representatives. Mr. Murphy also conducted piece this year at the concert. The students are as follows:

The Middle School Wrestling team travel to the New Lexington Middle School Invite. The tournament had 28 teams and so e of the best competition in the state. They placed third overall as a team and were the highest placing out of 9 MVL School at the tournament. They were lead by Ziggy Sandobal (104) and Jerik Winland (150) Championship wins for the Panthers. The other placers are below:

🐾🤼♀️2024 Alexander Warehouse Tire Final Results 🤼♀️🐾
The middle school and high school lady panther wrestlers traveled to Alexander High School today and competed strong.
The middle school team placed 6th out of 21 teams and the high school placed 9th out of 26 teams. Middle School Presley Sandobal (#92) dominated her competition clear through the finals to bring home a 1st place finish.
Audrey Crooks (#116) was unstoppable through her competition and wrestled to a 2nd place finish in the finals.
Annika Winland (#142) competed strong all day and brought home a 6th place finish.
High School Kyrie Valentine (#105) competed her way through pool play and wrestled to a 4th place finish in the finals.
Josalynn Milatovich (#135) battled her way through competition and wrestled her way into 5th in the finals.
Chloe Pierce (#140) wrestled hard all day through 5 rounds in pool play.
Kelsie Bryan (#145) was unstoppable through pool play and competed hard in the final to bring home a 2nd place finish.

Maysville Boys Basketball Team will be having a Zack Smith Foundation fundraiser for the Zack Smith Honorary night on January 26th. You can purchase your t-shirt by seeing any basketball player or by emailing Coach Brown at dave.brown@maysvillelocal.org or Coach Cox at jared.cox@maysvillelocal.org. All proceeds will go to the Zack Smith Foundation. Orders are due by January 17th.

The students had a field trip to Genesis Perry County Emergency Department and Somerset Reading Twp EMS Facility. 🚑
