We are beyond proud of all of our archers who represented our team and competed on the world stage this weekend. The hard work, dedication, and countless hours of practice truly showed!

💙🐾💛 Happy Father’s Day, from Maysville Local School District. 💛🐾💙

At the 2026 HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, 2026 Maysville graduate Laynee Swingle earned 1st Place Internationally in the Patient Care Technician category! Laynee competed at the regional and state levels before qualifying to compete at the international level.

The international competition consisted of a first round written examination and, then, 23 qualifiers moved on to round two, which was a hands on skill-based assessment. All fifty states and several countries were represented at the conference. Chelsie Kim is the advisor of Maysville’s HOSA chapter. Congratulations, Laynee!

As Summer Break began, the student leaders of the Maysville FFA Chapter attended the Ohio FFA District 8 Chapter Officer Training at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum. Throughout three days, they took part in various leadership workshops, listened to keynote speakers, as well as enjoyed the outdoors by kayaking, fishing, completing the high ropes course, and more!

Most importantly, the team spent time planning and laying out events for the upcoming year in Maysville FFA. It was a fun and productive time for all. We can't wait to see what this year holds for these students!

Maysville Local School District would like to congratulate Bella Van Wey, Paige Calendine, and Emma Tamasovich for representing Maysville at the 2026 State Track & Field Meet! 💙💛

🥈 Bella earned State Runner-Up honors in both the Shot Put and Discus, earning All-Ohio recognition.

🏅 Paige placed 5th in the Seated Shot Put, earning All-Ohio honors.

🏅 Emma Tamasovich placed 5th in the High Jump, also earning All-Ohio recognition.
