We regret to inform you that Maysville High School will not be offering free driver's education for the upcoming school year. This decision is due to the expiration of our high school’s 21st Century grant funding, coupled with the state's decision not to renew this particular grant.

The grant that previously funded our driver's education program was crucial in allowing us to provide this service at no cost to our students. Unfortunately, without this financial support, we are unable to offer the program for free at this time. We understand the importance of driver's education in helping our students gain valuable skills and independence, and we share in your disappointment over this development.

Please rest assured that we are actively exploring alternative ways to incorporate driver's education for our families. We are committed to finding viable solutions that can support our students in obtaining their driver's licenses.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work toward a resolution. We will keep you updated on any progress or changes regarding the driver's education program.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement with our school community. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email erik.winland@maysvillelocal.org.
